My name is Kriss-Abigail (two first names), for the last eight years, I have practiced the craft of wild game butchery. Fueled by a sense of purpose to share what I know, a love of our wild places, and a desire to highlight the invisible labor that feeds us, I launched Meet Your Meat.
I believe that we as Meat Eaters are responsible for the stewardship of the life cycle of the animals we eat. With my wild game butchery education, I invite people to reconnect to themselves and their communities, through the process of turning death into sustenance.
